Understanding Your PostageEasy Dashboard

Learn how to navigate and use all the features available on your PostageEasy dashboard.

Dashboard Overview

Your PostageEasy dashboard is your command center for all shipping operations. This guide will help you understand each section and maximize your efficiency.

Quick Actions Panel

Located at the top of your dashboard, the Quick Actions panel provides immediate access to:

  • Create Shipment: Start a new shipping label
  • Batch Import: Upload multiple shipments via CSV
  • Address Book: Manage frequently used addresses
  • Add Funds: Recharge your account balance

Recent Shipments

View your last 20 shipments with at-a-glance information including:

  • Tracking number and carrier
  • Destination city and state
  • Shipment status
  • Cost and date created

Click any shipment to view full details, reprint labels, or void unused labels for refunds.

Account Balance Widget

Monitor your current balance and recent transactions. Set up low-balance alerts to ensure you never run out of funds. You can add funds via:

  • Credit card (instant)
  • PayPal
  • ACH bank transfer (2-3 business days)

Reports and Analytics

Access detailed shipping reports including:

  • Monthly spending: Track your shipping costs over time
  • Carrier breakdown: See which carriers you use most
  • Destination analysis: Identify your most common shipping zones
  • Package types: Understand your typical shipment profiles

Settings and Preferences

Customize your experience by configuring:

  • Default package dimensions and weight
  • Preferred carriers and services
  • Email notification preferences
  • API keys for integrations
  • User permissions for team accounts
